Stewardship is how we use what God has given to us. Acts 17:28 says, "In Him we live and move and have our being." All we are and all we have comes from God. Therefore, stewardship involves how we use everything, including our time, talents, money and even how we care for our bodies and the rest of God's creation.
We practice stewardship out of grateful response to the depth of God's love and grace that is offered to us. The Bible speaks of our financial stewardship in terms of tithes and offerings. The tithes and offerings that we give to God are one of the ways that we demonstrate our love for God.
Financial gifts to Woodview further the mission and ministry of our church. With these resources we are making a difference – in lives, in households, in our city and throughout the world. That’s not just something we say either. Woodview regularly gives more than 20% of our income to people and ministries outside of our local church.
